The position requires a qualified teacher with special needs experience, ideally with at least two years of teaching experience.
The role involves teaching a small Key Stage 3 class of students with complex learning needs, who are working at a KS2 level.
The salary is competitive, with pay to scale up to UPS1 and a SEND allowance.

Are you an experienced Special Needs Teacher with a passion for teaching children with additional needs? This wonderful SEN school is looking to add a specialist Special Needs Teacher to the team to teach a small Key Stage 3 class of students with complex learning needs. The class is working at a KS2 level, and the school is happy to consider a teacher from either a primary or secondary background.As a Special Needs Teacher at this school, you will be joining a highly experienced team of SEND Teachers and support staff who are committed to ensuring every child has access to an excellent education. Teaching small classes of Key Stage 3 Students with Special Educational Needs.
Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual students.
Liaising with the SENCO and TA’s to ensure children are supported appropriately.
Making school a nurturing, welcoming and safe place for students.
Helping young people to break down academic and social barriers.
