Aspire People are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 General Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in B9. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and motivated individual to make a positive impact on students' education in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons to Year 6 students.
Assist with the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources.
Provide one-on-one or small group support for students who need additional help.
Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
Encourage and support students' emotional, social, and academic development.
Work alongside the teacher to assess and track student progress.
What We Are Looking For:
Previous experience working with primary school-aged children, ideally in a classroom setting.
A genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to engage children in their learning.
A proactive attitude and a desire to contribute to the school's inclusive culture.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) would be desirable, but not essential.
