About the Role:
In this role, you will be at the forefront of implementing a people strategy that resonates with our vision: "Make an Impact and Be our Future." Collaborating closely with the HR Business Partner aligned to the tax service line, you'll lead the charge in delivering impactful people initiatives while ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive People Initiatives: Support the consistent delivery of the people agenda, focusing on wellbeing, engagement, and inclusion.
- Build Relationships: Establish strong connections with senior leaders and internal teams to facilitate smooth people initiatives and operational support.
- Manage Change: Execute people change programmes, ensuring effective communication and alignment with company values.
- Enhance Employee Experience: Contribute to high-quality people processes that position our client as an employer of choice.
- analyse Trends: Gather insights on workforce issues and trends to inform employee experience strategies.
- Provide Expert Guidance: Advise on policies and processes, ensuring fair application and pragmatic solutions to challenges.
- Handle Employee Relations: Manage complex employee relations issues with care and diligence, balancing fairness and risk management.
- Coordinate Key Processes: Oversee performance reviews, reward cycles, and workforce planning in collaboration with specialist teams.
- Support Recruitment Efforts: Work with recruitment teams to fulfil hiring plans and future workforce needs.
- Champion Analytics: utilise people analytics to enhance decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Lead and Develop Your Team: Mentor and support the People Advisory team to foster a high-performing, collaborative environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications: CIPD qualified, level 7 or above.
- Business Acumen: High degree of business acumen with interpersonal skills to effectively influence leaders.
- People practise Expertise: Strong understanding of best practises across the employee lifecycle and its impact on employer brand.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading a team to create business-focused people solutions.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to partner across the people team to drive effective support.
- Innovative Mindset: A critical thinker with a curious approach, bringing innovation and insight.
- Knowledge of Trends: Awareness of future employment trends and the ability to develop relevant people propositions.
- Employee Relations Expertise: In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and experience managing employee relations in regulated environments.
- Engagement and Inclusion: Experience in delivering strategies that enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion.
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to apply people analytics for informed decision-making.
