Senior People Advisor

As a Senior People Advisor, reporting to a People Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering both strategic and operational HR support across the organisation. You will offer expert guidance on HR matters, ensuring the effective implementation of policies, practices, and compliance with employment legislation.

The Senior People Advisor is a broad and impactful HR generalist role that combines deep expertise, creativity, and commercial insight to deliver effective people solutions and drive meaningful change across the organisation. Acting as a trusted partner, you will offer innovative, forward-thinking advice and constructive challenge, while ensuring a high-quality, consistent experience for all stakeholders.

You will lead a small ambitious team, ensuring HR initiatives are strategically aligned with business objectives and championing a culture of continue improvement. In addition to leading key areas such as employee relations, wellbeing, and absence management, the Senior People Advisor will drive initiatives that cultivate a positive, healthy, and inclusive work environment.

A fast paced and varied role, where such duties will include:

  • Building a high-performing teams through clear direction, accountability and fostering individual growth.
  • Managing appraisals. Support line managers on constructive feedback and goal setting
  • Providing guidance on complex employee relations matters
  • Driving change with HR processes, practices and culture. Continuously evolving to meet the demands of a dynamic workforce
  • Providing guidance on the application of company policies and procedures, and contribute to their ongoing review and updates

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience as a Senior People Advisor, preferably within a financial or professional services environment. This role requires a strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and effective leadership capabilities. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a 'can-do’ attitude are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. The successful individual will be adept at managing ongoing projects and delivering results within set timelines, while demonstrating excellent stakeholder management skills.
