The HSE Advisor will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the industrial and manufacturing industry. This role is based in Birmingham and requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of safety protocols in an engineering and manufacturing environment.

Description

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workplace.
  • Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Deliver training and guidance to employees on HSE best practices.
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and audit HSE policies and procedures for compliance.
  • Collaborate with department heads to enhance workplace safety measures.
  • Prepare detailed reports on HSE performance and recommend improvements.
  • Stay updated on changes in HSE legislation and industry standards.

Profile

A successful HSE Advisor should have:

  • Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental compliance within the industrial and manufacturing industry.
  • A recognised qualification in occupational health and safety or a related field.
  • NEBOSH qualified
  • ISO 14001 and 45001 auditor experience (internal auditor qualification desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of UK HSE laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills to deliver training and collaborate effectively.
  • Analytical skills to identify risks and implement practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and documentation.

Job Offer

  • 36400 per annum.
  • Working Hours
    8:00 to 16:15 (Monday to Thursday)
    8:00 to 12:00 (Friday)
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
