Description
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workplace.
- Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
- Deliver training and guidance to employees on HSE best practices.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and audit HSE policies and procedures for compliance.
- Collaborate with department heads to enhance workplace safety measures.
- Prepare detailed reports on HSE performance and recommend improvements.
- Stay updated on changes in HSE legislation and industry standards.
Profile
A successful HSE Advisor should have:
- Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental compliance within the industrial and manufacturing industry.
- A recognised qualification in occupational health and safety or a related field.
- NEBOSH qualified
- ISO 14001 and 45001 auditor experience (internal auditor qualification desirable)
- Strong knowledge of UK HSE laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to deliver training and collaborate effectively.
- Analytical skills to identify risks and implement practical solutions.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and documentation.
Job Offer
- 36400 per annum.
- Working Hours
8:00 to 16:15 (Monday to Thursday)
8:00 to 12:00 (Friday) - 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
