Are you a detail-oriented billing professional looking for a new opportunity? We are working closely with a fantastic law firm who are seeking a seeking a dedicated Billing Officer with Legal experience to manage their financial operations with precision and compliance.

As the Billing Officer, you will focus on managing the drafting and submission of Legal Aid bills, prepare high-cost case plans, handle public funding applications, and assist fee earners with billing queries. They also ensure compliance with accounting standards and manage monthly profit costs submissions, while adhering to health and safety policies.

Skills required:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing solicitor accounts and a solid understanding of accounting practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, document management, and familiar with case management systems such as ALB and Cost Master.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of handling billing and accounts queries professionally and sensitively.
