EP Group – Inventory Controller

EP Group is an award winning, global packaging manufacturer with production facilities across Europe and South East Asia.

Our global headquarters in Birmingham is home to our dedicated paper manufacturing division providing a wide range of food packaging products for the likes of McDonalds, Amazon, Marks & Spencer and Greggs.

We are now seeking a Perpetual Inventory Controller to be based on site here in Birmingham. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting inventory counts, managing stock movements, and ensuring effective product placement within our warehouse operation.

Working closely with the Operation Integrity Manager, you will take ownership of key tasks and projects, while also collaborating with wider departments to maintain integrity, accuracy, and efficiency across the inventory function with specific focus on perpetual inventory and reconciliation of issues encountered.

Key Responsibilities – Inventory Controller

  • Carrying out timely perpetual inventory counts and processing documentation in SAP
  • Executing stock investigations, audits and analysing variances through detailed reports
  • Supporting warehouse strategies for product placement and capacity management
  • Managing issues including delivery errors and contributing to stock placement tasks
  • Upholding organisational standards, ensuring stock is stored correctly.
  • Promoting best practice across the team and supporting operational projects
  • Championing Health and Safety to ensure a safe working environment
  • Supporting a culture of efficiency, collaboration, and excellence

Key Requirements - Inventory Controller

  • A strong understanding of inventory control and stock management processes using the WM SAP business platform
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Great organisational and time-management skills
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • MHE licences
