Corporate Solicitor – Birmingham | Top Tier National Firm I’m currently working on a fantastic opportunity with a well-established and highly regarded national law firm, consistently recognised as one of the UK’s top 100. This role is based in their growing Birmingham office and sits within a corporate team that has gone from strength to strength in recent years. The Opportunity This role offers the chance to join an entrepreneurial corporate team that is nationally ranked among the top three for M&A activity across all UK regions. The team are also recognised specialists in the Health & Social Care and Dental sectors, operating at the cutting edge of industry developments. You’ll be part of a dynamic group of six solicitors in Birmingham, working closely with supportive Partners and senior colleagues across the national practice. Following a continued increase in deal flow and client instructions, the firm is now looking to appoint an experienced Corporate Solicitor to further strengthen the Birmingham offering. This is a great fit for someone who’s keen to play an active role in a high-performing team while continuing to develop their own profile and progression pathway. What You'll Be Doing
  • Handling a broad mix of corporate matters including M&A, private equity, joint ventures, and reorganisations
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues across the national team to share insights and drive high standards
  • Contributing to business development initiatives and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and growth
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members, as well as helping to maintain a cohesive, positive team culture
What We're Looking For
  • A minimum of 5 years’ PQE in corporate law, ideally from a well-regarded commercial firm
  • Solid transactional experience and a strong understanding of corporate advisory work
  • A confident, collaborative approach to managing clients and internal relationships
  • Excellent drafting skills, commercial awareness, and a detail-oriented mindset
  • Someone who’s ambitious, proactive, and eager to be part of a team that’s scaling fast
