Our client is now looking for a Legal Secretary to join their Legal 500 Firm in Birmingham City Centre. This is a great opportunity if you want to work for a Firm that has great routes to progression and offers fantastic company benefits.
Role Overview:
Provide typing, secretarial, and administrative support to the team and wider firm, ensuring a high standard of service and responsiveness to fee earners' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver audio transcription, digital dictation, and document preparation.
- Maintain the case management system, ensuring accurate electronic filing and document linking.
- Handle routine tasks such as scanning, printing, photocopying, binding, and faxing.
- Schedule appointments and manage diaries for managers and fee earners.
- Communicate professionally with clients in person and by phone.
- Use internal systems for finance tracking, time recording, and billing.
- Maintain confidentiality of all firm and client information.
Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and excellent spelling/grammar.
- Effective communicator, calm under pressure, with strong organisational skills.
- Deadline-driven with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Team player with a flexible, cooperative approach.
