Trainee Maintenance Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive and planned preventative maintenance, troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and supporting production efficiency. You will also be involved in welding, fabrication, and continuous improvement activities to help reduce downtime and maintain site performance.

This role would suit a mechanically skilled engineer with maintenance experience looking for a permanent position with excellent benefits and no weekend work.

The Role:

  • Reactive and planned maintenance across a range of mechanical machinery
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic fault-finding, welding and fabrication
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving to support production efficiency
  • Monday - Friday, 37-hour week with early Friday finish

  • Time-served Mechanical Engineer with experience in manufacturing
  • Skilled in fault-finding, welding, fabrication, and continuous improvement
