About the Role
We're seeking an experienced boiler engineer to join a supportive, forward-thinking business committed to your development. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on engineer with a strong understanding of steam and hot water systems.
You'll be responsible for servicing and maintaining a fleet of steam and hot water boilers-ensuring they're safe, compliant, and operational for hire across a variety of industries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain high-pressure hot water and steam boilers (up to 3MW)
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and remedial works
  • Prepare systems for insurance inspections
  • Support on-site installations and breakdowns
  • Prepare and check materials for hire orders
  • Maintain equipment quality and identification standards


What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with steam and hot water boilers
  • BOAS, City & Guilds Steam Boiler Operations or equivalent (or willing to work towards)
  • Gas Safe registered (domestic or commercial qualifications acceptable, steam experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of combustion, boiler design, and safety standards
  • Practical skills and hands-on engineering experience
  • Strong communication and diagnostic abilities


Hours & On-Call

  • Standard hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm or 7:30 - 4:30
  • On-call: 1 weekend in 3
    (Fri 5pm-9pm, Sat & Sun 7am- 7PM) - 24 hour response time, not 4 hour
  • £120 on-call allowance for the 3 days
  • Door-to-door travel paid
