Location: Birmingham
Basic Salary: Up to £52,500
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Join a leading accident repair team as a skilled MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician, working with state-of-the-art equipment and delivering repairs to manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre
- Follow correct repair techniques and factory specifications
- Conduct detailed inspections to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Repair or replace damaged mechanical, electrical, and trim components
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts as required
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify and fix system issues
- Perform quality checks to ensure repairs meet industry standards
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- Adhere to all safety protocols and standards
Skills and Qualifications
- Recognised apprenticeship as a MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician
- Technical qualification such as NVQ, ATA, IMI, or SVQ
- Previous experience within a busy bodyshop environment
- Experience with geometry work and 4-wheel alignment
- Up-to-date diagnostic training and repair techniques
- Strong team player with a self-motivated attitude to achieve bonus hours
