We are recruiting for a client who is a leader in the global brand market. They are seeking a Social Media Manager to join their head office team. This role is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is creative, proactive, and passionate about building engaging online communities. The Social Media Manager will act as the digital voice of the brand, developing and executing social strategies that enhance engagement, expand the community, and elevate brand awareness. The role involves close collaboration with the Brand Director, focusing on both men’s and women’s segments across all major social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop, implement, and manage the social media strategy across various platforms.
- Define the most important social media KPIs.
- Create and curate visually compelling and on-brand content in collaboration with the creative and marketing teams.
- Plan and schedule content calendars to synchronise with product launches, campaigns, and activations.
- Analyse performance metrics and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Stay updated with social trends, platform updates, and fashion industry news to keep the brand ahead of the curve.
- Collaborate with influencers, stylists, and creators to amplify the social presence.
- Engage actively with the audience through DMs, comments, and community management.
- Support paid social campaigns with an integrated organic content strategy and coordination.
- Manage and oversee social media content.
- Measure the success of every social media campaign.
- Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer.
- Attend educational conferences.
- Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams.
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in social media management, preferably in Fashion, Apparel, Lifestyle, or Streetwear.
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Deep understanding of content creation, social trends, and platform algorithms.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices.
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Later, Planoly, or similar.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in using analytics tools such as Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, etc.
- Familiarity with web design and publishing.
- Excellent multitasking skills.
- Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
