Your new companyBirmingham City Council are looking to recruit Visiting Officers on an ASAP basis on a 3 month ongoing opportunity, offering £12.60 per hour basic, £14.12 per hour premium inclusive of holiday allowance for the first 13 weeks. After 13 weeks, £13.88 per hour basic, £15.56 per hour inclusive of holiday allowance.

Your new roleAs a Visiting Officer with Birmingham City Council, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our community. Your responsibilities will include completing simple fire risk tasks such as removing items from cupboards, replacing warning notices, and sending tenants notices to remove items blocking fire exits, collaborating with caretakers to address and remove fly-tipping, and conducting site visits across East Birmingham to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will need a valid driving license and access to a vehicle with business insurance added as part of the vehicle policy, strong attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols, excellent communication skills to interact effectively with tenants and caretakers as well as the ability to work independently and manage your time efficiently.
