Key Responsibilities of a Sheltered Scheme Manager:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the scheme to ensure a safe, supportive, and well-maintained environment for residents
- Provide housing-related advice and low-level support to residents, promoting independence and wellbeing
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and local services to ensure effective support networks
- Organise and support resident engagement activities, community events, and regular communications
Key Requirements
- Relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification and experience in housing, care, or support services
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with a proactive and compassionate approach
- Understanding of welfare benefits, safeguarding, and tenancy management
- Flexibility to work unsociable hours and participate in an on-call rota
