Role Summary:

Develop and build a new same day service utilising Third Party and Circle Express resources. To manage and control our Clients Sameday and AOG requirements via the Circle Express network and various sub-contractors. Ensure service meets clients expectations and agreed KPIs. Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve operating quality and efficiency of the depot. Supervise other members of staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.In addition to the role, quoting nationally and handling bookings via the Haulier Exchange platform maximising revenue for the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Being a point of contact for Sameday / AOG for clients.
  • Efficiently utilising the available resources to deliver excellent service to customers.
  • Work in conjunction with the Operations Manager to ensure Circle Express runs as efficiently as possible.
  • Ensuring accurate storage and prompt retrieval of information.
  • Ensuring individuals, teams, colleagues, Managers and clients are advised of appropriate information.
  • Maintain close relationships with Sameday / AOG clients.
  • Obtaining and processing information to enable appropriate decisions to be made.
  • Assisting when required in the induction and appropriate training of individuals.
  • Driver debriefing & general transport admin support.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience in Sameday or On-Demand courier.
  • Experience with client and Driver support.
  • In depth knowledge of courier requirements.
  • Knowledge of Aviation Security.
  • Ability to work under pressure in busy fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Highly organised and excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to proactively develop clients through dynamic pricing as required. Team player as well as able to work independently.
  • Hard-working and flexible. Acts professionally and confidently at all times.
