Airtech manufacture a full range of domestic mechanical ventilation systems specifically designed for the Social Housing and Local Authority market. We install bathroom and kitchen fans, provide mould treatment/ eradication, and Radon testing.
About the role:
Are you a hands-on leader with electrical expertise and a passion for people development? We're looking for an Operations Manager (North/Midlands) to lead our team in delivering high-quality services to the social housing sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of engineers, surveyors and technician to deliver safe, productive, high-quality installations
- Conducting site visits across the UK to coach, support, and audit completed work
- Acting as the go-to electrical expert for your team and stakeholders
- Managing day-to-day operations and maintaining a positive, high-performing team culture
- Supporting recruitment, training, and ongoing development of engineers
- Building strong relationships with clients, tenants, and colleagues
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and company standards
About you:
- 2+ years' experience managing a field-based team
- At least 2-5 years of experience in similar electrical role
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- C&G 5357 Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification
- Content travelling throughout the UK on a regular basis, and flexible to working additional hours when required
- A sound understanding of HR processes and conflict management
- Great organisational skills - you will be managing stock and coordinating many moving parts
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Ability to coach and develop your team
- Ventilation knowledge/experience, desirable
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety and Electrical Safe Systems of Work
- IOSH Managing Safely
- First Aid in the Workplace
