Prospero Teaching are looking for an enthusiastic and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Acocks Green, starting as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a valued part of a nurturing team that puts children's needs at the heart of everything they do.
About the Role:
- Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils with a range of SEND, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
- Support learning both in and out of the classroom, adapting tasks to meet individual needs.
- Help create a positive, inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and supported.
- Work closely with class teachers, the SENDCo, and external professionals to deliver tailored support.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and self-esteem in all learners.
What We're Looking For:
- An level 3 Teaching Assisant who has experience working for a minimum of 6 months in a UK primary school
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
- Experience working with children with SEND (in a school or similar setting).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all pupils.
