Location: Birmingham - B6 Postcode

Type: Contract 6-12 months

Hours: Full Time

Salary: 13 - 17 per hour + holiday pay

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day financial and administrative support, ensuring records and processes are accurate and up to date.
  • Process purchase orders, petty cash, and supplier payments in line with organisational procedures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for finance-related queries, providing clear and timely support to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Prepare meeting notes, reports, and financial data for managers.
  • Maintain finance systems and documentation, ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Support the wider business support team with office coordination, IT issues, and general admin cover during busy periods.

Key Skills

  • Strong attention to detail with good literacy, numeracy, and accuracy in data handling.
  • Proactive and well-organised, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Flexible team player who can adapt to changing workloads and provide cover when needed.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Positive approach to problem-solving, improvement, and supporting team objectives.
