Maintenance support technician, Coleshill, £38,000 – £40,000, 10% company pension, option to purchase shares, paid overtime.

Shifts – Day shift only. 

About us

ATA is working with a large manufacturing group, who are looking for maintenance support technician to join their team. The company who turnover over £400 million have a fantastic reputation within their market space & due to recent changes in the legislations have saw a huge increase in the need for their product. This increase has allowed them to put forward exciting plans to improve site efficiency, upgrade machinery and increase the size of their production team. One role they have created is that of a maintenance support technician, which will act as a support function to the shift engineers and production team.

Working in this role, you will work alongside a diverse and down-to-earth Engineering Manager, and an experienced operations team. This opportunity is fantastic for any maintenance technician who is interested in further developing their career.

About the role

As a Maintenance support technician, you will be responsible for working alongside the shift engineering team to ensure the safe and effective running of the factory.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Boiler management (Full external training will be provided, with certification).
  • Boiler water management, taking water samples analysis and keeping a record.
  • Pump inspections, build and refurbishment.
  • Set up and execute an effective lubrication programme.
  • Supporting with plant maintenance tasks.
  • Supporting with the management of the engineering stores.

About you

To be considered for this Maintenance support technician role there is no formal qualification required, however, you must have previous experience working within a maintenance capacity.  

  • Mechanical biased with strong mechanical maintenance knowledge.
  • Previous experience working as a maintenance fitter, mechanical fitter or engineer.
  • Happy working within an industrial manufacturing environment.
