Welder

WELDER / FABRICATOR 37.5 hrs per week

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7am till 4pm

Rate: starting £14 and can go up to £16 per hour (depending on experience)

AM2PM RECRUITMENT are currently recruiting for a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join the dynamic team of our client based in Birmingham, B46 area.  

In this role, you will play a key part in manufacturing and fabricating high-quality products, all while ensuring safety, precision, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Perform MIG and TIG welding tasks on a variety of materials, including but not limited to steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. 

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements. 

- Ensure quality standards are met by performing inspections and tests on welded workpieces. 

- Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices to create a safe working environment for yourself and your team members. 

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet client expectations. 

Requirements:

- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding techniques. 

- Ability to interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and specifications. 

- Solid understanding of welding processes, materials, and tools. 

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
