A privately owned, well established business is looking for a dedicated and detail-driven Purchase Ledger / Accounts Assistant to join its busy finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things organised, loves numbers, and thrives on accuracy. As a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for keeping the accounts payable process running smoothly. From handling supplier invoices to reconciling statements, this is a hands-on role with plenty of variety. Day-to-day tasks will include checking invoice details, maintaining supplier accounts, supporting payment runs, and answering supplier queries in a professional and friendly manner.
