At WhiteTrees we are currently recruiting for 1:1 Outreach Tutors, with the opportunity for Post Graduates to achieve their fully funded QTS!

The role of an Outreach Tutor consists of working mainly offsite with Pupils who may struggle in a classroom setting, due to their complex needs. We find working 1:1 is extremely beneficial, not only for our students but also for our Staff. You will have the opportunity to build positive relationships, alongside the chance of providing bespoke Education that is tailored to the individual needs of our Young People. Our Pupils are between 11 years old and 16 years old, that require Primary (foundation years) level Education.

What will the day-to-day role involve:

Implementing Pupils likes and interests into their learning, to ensure they are as engaged as possible

. Following strategies/interventions designed by our Wellbeing team

. Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment

. Being accountable for the attainment, progress and outcomes of the Pupil

Required Skills and Qualifications:

. Minimum education standard to A-level or equivalent (Desirable)

. Some experience in planning, delivering, monitoring and evaluating lessons (Desirable)

. Experience in working with pupils who have SEMH (Desirable)
