About the Role:We're working with a dynamic and fast-paced organisation in Bishop's Stortford looking to expand their IT support function with the addition of a 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Analyst. This is a hands-on, face-to-face support role, ideal for someone with solid experience across the Microsoft Office 365 suite and a proactive approach to solving user issues.

As part of a close-knit IT team, you'll provide day-to-day technical support to users across the business, resolving the majority of issues directly and in person. From troubleshooting hardware and software problems to assisting with ad hoc IT requests, you'll be an essential point of contact for ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations.

Due to the location and occasional travel between sites, you must have a full, clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for hardware, software, and user accounts (primarily face-to-face)
  • Support and troubleshoot within the Office 365 suite - including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Excel
  • Respond to ad hoc IT queries and support requests across departments
  • Maintain and update internal documentation on common issues and resolutions
  • Assist with device setups, user onboarding, and software installations
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the wider IT team or 3rd-line support where necessary

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a 1st or 2nd line IT support role
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and common desktop applications
  • Confident in face-to-face support and user interaction
  • Good troubleshooting skills across Windows environments, hardware, printers, and mobile devices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • A team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport is essential
