We are seeking a patient, resilient, and positive Tutor to support a GCSE student in Swanmore who has experienced a prolonged absence from school due to complex medical needs. This young person is a keen and enthusiastic learner with a strong desire to succeed and progress to college.

As a Tutor you will:

Have experience tutoring GCSE Maths and English.
Be empathetic and adaptable to the student's unique learning needs.
Be committed to building confidence and filling gaps in knowledge.
Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
Work collaboratively with the student and their family to set achievable goals.

Minimum 1 year of experience in UK schools as a:
- Teacher
- Teaching Assistant
- Cover Supervisor
- Tutor
- Mentor
- Or other education professional
- Patient and calm, able to work at the student's pace and revisit foundational concepts without frustration.
- Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to adjust teaching strategies based on the student's energy levels, medical needs, and emotional well being.
- Positive and encouraging, fostering a safe and uplifting learning environment that builds the student's confidence and motivation.
