Reed is currently seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join a high-performing and well-established call centre team. This role is based in Blackburn and offers a genuine 'people first' culture.

As a Customer Service Advisor, no two days will be the same, but you’ll always strive to provide the best customer service experience to all internal and external customers calling into the Contact Centre. You’re not a robot, so naturally you have the freedom to support customers in the way you would like to be helped…With professional warmth and patience.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Respond to all inbound calls and emails in a professional and effective manner, adhering to agreed response times and focusing primarily on email communications.
  • Address customer responses to letters, telephone calls, and emails, updating systems accordingly.
  • Categorise daily recommendations for issues with appropriate mail merge letters and emails.
  • Accurately record information, ensuring it is processed correctly and efficiently.
  • Take ownership of customer interactions in all aspects, including recording any customer requests.
  • Proactively identify incidents that may adversely affect the Centre’s service delivery and comply with escalation procedures.
