Role Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied client portfolio, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and larger corporate clients
  • Act as the key point of contact for clients, providing expert advice on accounts, tax planning, and business strategy
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Oversee statutory accounts preparation, tax compliance, and financial reporting
  • Review work completed by junior team members, providing feedback and training
  • Identify opportunities to add value to client businesses, offering proactive financial advice
  • Ensure all client work is completed accurately and on time, managing deadlines effectively
  • Contribute to business development efforts by supporting client retention and acquisition initiatives

Candidate Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified with significant experience in practice

  • Experience leading a team, coaching junior staff, and reviewing work
  • A commercial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency
