Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join a family hub in Blackburn. This is a temporary position, starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year.

About the Role

We are looking for a Nursery Teacher to work within the nursery provision of one of the family hubs in Blackburn. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, including setting up the environment and planning activities to support children's development.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up the nursery environment each day.

  • Planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities.

  • Supporting children's learning and development.

  • Observing and assessing children's progress.

  • Maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment.

  • Working effectively as part of a team.

To be considered for this Nursery Teacher role you will need to:

  • Hold QTS Status or an equivalent Early Years qualification.

  • Have experience working with young children in a nursery setting.

  • Have a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

  • Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.

  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible

  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
