The Role

We are looking for a proactive and reliable Team Leader to support the Warehouse Manager at our busy Distribution Centre. You will play a vital role in planning workloads, resolving issues, and ensuring orders are delivered accurately and on time. While this role does not carry direct line management responsibility, you will be expected to guide, support, and motivate the team.

What You’ll Do

  • Supervise daily activities and ensure the team is fully supported
  • Resolve order-picking issues effectively and efficiently
  • Ensure all warehouse equipment is used correctly and safely
  • Oversee the timely and accurate delivery of customer orders
  • Investigate and resolve stock or order discrepancies
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in line with company processes
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve order queries and discrepancies
  • Highlight training and development needs to the Warehouse Manager
  • Assist with arranging overtime or extra resource during peak periods
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines and raise any concerns

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experienced with WMS and understanding of distribution workflows
  • Skilled in WMS with strong problem-solving ability
  • Confident in guiding and motivating a team while supporting colleagues’ development
  • Constructive and confident in providing feedback to improve performance
  • First Aid trained (training can be provided)
  • Licences for Narrow Aisle Truck, FLT, or Picking Truck are advantageous (training can be provided)
  • Safety-focused, committed to maintaining high standards across the warehouse
