In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to Key Stage 1 pupils, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will plan and prepare high-quality teaching materials, assess pupil progress, and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for all children. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to Key Stage 1 pupils in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and positive behaviour.
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and setting challenging targets.
- Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and other support staff.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and well-being.
- Contribute to the wider school life and ethos.
- Keep up-to-date with current educational trends and best practice in KS1.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil attainment and progress.
- Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils.

- Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS) with experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
- A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment procedures.
- Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.

- A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine commitment to the progress and well-being of young children.
- A DBS Child Only on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
