Duties will include
- Working directly for the Senior Design Engineer, assist in setting up parametric models that run automatically in conjunction with our ERP system, (these models automatically produce drawings), DXF files, BOMs & cut lists for the manufacturing team to use.
- Apply a continuous improvement mindset to enhance the speed and quality of outputs produced by the design team.
- Develop and improve new and existing products to reduce costs and improve manufacturing lead times.
- Produce CAD drawings for new or improved products using industry standards.
- Ability to deal with multiple projects concurrently.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to investigate and resolve problems with existing designs. Participate in reviews and make recommendations.
- Make corrections to models and drawings as and when requested to do so by senior staff.
- Provide support to other areas within the Engineering department during busy periods to ensure drawings are issued on time and customer deadlines are met.
Salary - Circa 35000 depending on experience
Location - Blackpool
Shift - 36 hours Mon - Thurs
