Salary: £50,000
Hours: Monday to Friday

A well-established manufacturing business in Blackpool is seeking an experienced Hygiene Manager to lead and develop the site’s hygiene function. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the hygiene team to ensure all site areas meet strict hygiene and safety standards.
• Develop and implement hygiene schedules, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards.
• Manage hygiene budgets, chemical usage, and contractor performance.
• Work closely with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient manufacturing environment.
• Provide training and guidance to ensure a strong hygiene culture across all departments.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Hygiene Manager within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Strong understanding of hygiene, microbiological standards, and food safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Capable of driving performance through effective people management and attention to detail.
• Confident working cross-functionally and delivering improvements across teams.
