Transfer Station Administrator and Weighbridge Operator required for an 8 week temporary role.
Hours are Monday- Friday 7am- 4.30pm with overtime potentially available.
Duties will include-
- Assist with general administrative duties, such as; answering phones, filing, checking and processing documentation, document compliance checks, working with spreadsheets.
- Cover the weighbridge where needed.
- Carry out inductions for visitors to the site.
- Ensure that anyone going onto the site has the appropriate protective equipment.
- Complete appropriate documentation, in accordance with legal guidelines.
- Ensure that all Health and Safety policies are followed, at all times.
- Communicate effectively with the team.
- To deliver outstanding front-line customer service.
Requirements:
- Prior waste / recycling or similar process environment highly advantageous.
- Weighbridge operation experience.
- Excellent understanding and approach to health & safety.
- Great communication and customer service skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Experience of working with Excel & Data Systems.
Candidates with weighbridge experience highly considered. Candidates who have experience working in a transport office will also be considered.
