About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced French Teacher to join our dynamic team with a state-of-the-art secondary school for 11 to 16 year olds in Blackpool starting in September. This is an exciting opportunity to foster a love for languages and empower students to achieve their full potential. You will be able to demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils, as well as being passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people.
Requirements
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
- The ability to teach to GCSE standard.
- Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement.
- Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners.
- Fluency in French.
- Proven ability to plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Experience with both summative and formative evaluation techniques.
- Adapt teaching to a variety of skill levels, including SEN and EAL pupils.
- Skilled at using assessment data to track and monitor students' progress.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff members, parents, and students.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to develop a passion for languages.
- Plan and teach French to students across Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Use efficient formative and summative evaluation techniques to assess and track students' development.
- Provide students positive feedback that advances their growth and comprehension.
- Make sure all students improve by adapting lesson plans and teaching tactics based on assessment data.
- Assure the full involvement of all students by offering tailored support to those who require extra assistance or challenge.
- Engage students in a variety of practical language-learning applications.
- Keep the classroom atmosphere positive and encouraging to encourage both student success and wellbeing.
