We are seeking an experienced KS2-trained Teacher to join a secondary school in Blackpool to join a dedicated team and make a meaningful impact on the learning journey of their Foundation Set pupils in Years 7 and 8.About the Role:This unique position is ideal for a primary-trained teacher looking to bring their expertise in early literacy and numeracy to a secondary setting.You will be responsible for delivering a carefully adapted curriculum in English, Maths and Humanities to small groups of pupils whose learning levels remain within the KS2 range.The Foundation Set pupils typically have reading, literacy, and numeracy levels at or below primary age. This role requires:

  • Strong, high-quality first teaching.
  • Scaffolded and differentiated learning strategies.
  • A nurturing and structured classroom environment.

You will be supported by highly trained specialist assistants, and work closely with the wider SEND and curriculum teams to ensure pupils enjoy a rich, inclusive learning experience and make rapid progress.What We're Looking For:
