We are seeking a Maths Teacher to join a Secondary School on the Fylde Coast on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students across years 7 to 11. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to fostering a love for mathematics and helping students achieve their full potential.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and support students' progress, providing timely feedback
- Develop differentiated lesson plans to cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Prepare students for GCSE exams and other assessments.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and curriculum planning.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching mathematics at KS3 & KS4.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for mathematics and a commitment to student success
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
