Position: Supply Chain Manager
Salary: £40,000 + £45,000 + Final Salary Pension
Location:Blackpool

If you're an experienced supply chain professional who knows how to lead with empathy not ego this could be the role that finally lets you put your mark on a business that genuinely wants to do things right.

Heres the role in a nutshell:

• Youll lead a team of four buyers a capable group whove been good at the traditional day-to-day but need nurturing, not pushing, to evolve into a more strategic, commercially minded function.
• Your job is to guide them through that shift. Build trust. Develop confidence. Lead with consistency and care.
• Youll also take the reins on supplier strategy negotiating with UK-based partners (95% domestic) to reduce emissions, improve efficiency, and secure continuity of supply through robust contingency planning.
• Some travel will be needed (around once a year per supplier), but you'll be based on-site at the HQ in Blackpool.

Who you are:

• Youve led a supply chain or procurement team before and know how to bring people with you through change.
• Youre qualified (or part-qualified) through CIPS and well-versed in supplier negotiation, risk planning, and ethical sourcing.
• Youve worked with systems and know how to drive efficiency (even if it's not an out-of-the-box ERP).
• You care about sustainability and want to play a part in shaping a better supply chain not just a faster one.
