Job Title: Technical Planner

Location: Blackwood

Salary: £28-£32k per annum

Hours: Full time. Monday - Friday days regular (flexi time) Working Hours 37.5hrs per week

Here at The Recruitment Co, we are currently recruiting a Technical Planner to work for a company based in Blackwood.

The successful candidate will have the ability to identify, interpret and create maintenance data requirements and input into our MRP system. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of client master data within MRP.???????

Main Job Roles

  • You will research and interpret Technical Publications, manuals and engineering drawings
  • ???????Understand manufacturer's specifications, overhaul manuals, process sheets, drawings and other work instructions.
  • Be responsible for creating, maintaining and revising master data (Labour & material resource) in SAP.
  • Provide key responsive services to the business via our Helpdesk system support.
  • Challenging the validity of such requests to ensure accuracy of data creation.
  • Liaison with key functional Departments within NORDAM
  • Continuous improvement mindset supporting departmental project activity and CI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal customers and challenge where necessary to ensure data standards are maintained.

Position Qualifications:

  • Good level of education
  • Demonstrated experience of working in a technical role within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Computer literate, ideally advanced skill level in SAP & Excel
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a pro-active approach
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
