A massive bonus is that you will work straight day time shifts only - no evenings ever. The earliest start is 6am and latest finish 4:30pm.

The Assistant Cafe Manager we are looking for will have a coffee shop/cafe/restaurant background, excellent customer service skills, a real eye for detail and the ability to manage, lead and motivate small teams.

It is a busy operation so you will also need some volume experience.

Role - Assistant Cafe Manager

  • Manage all day to day operations alongside the manager
  • Help to control labour, stock and all costs & budgets
  • Train, induct and develop your team
  • Work in a hands-on capacity leading from the front
  • Maintain high standards, compliance and company systems & procedures
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Work to company targets and KPIs'

Attributes - Assistant Cafe Manager

  • Experience as an assistant restaurant/cafe/coffee shop manager in busy high street customer facing operations
  • Excellent people, communication and customer service skills
  • A hands-on approach and a very keen eye for detail
  • A good understanding of legislation & compliance
  • The ability to motivate and enthuse people and teams to deliver results
  • A positive and outgoing personality and outlook
  • IT literate - working with systems & process
