PCB Electronic Test Automation Engineer

 

Electronic Test Engineer with PCB test rig design experience to join an existing successful team developing manual and automated test processes that improve the quality and reliability of precision electronic products. The role will focus on applying testing methodologies and fault analysis to novel cutting edge high performance electronic products and circuit boards.

 

Requirements

Experience of manual and automated electronic testing of circuits, components, schematics, and power boards AC and DC ideally.

Test tools like oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.

Degree, HNC or equivalent in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

Test software and scripting tool knowledge in Python or LabVIEW.

 

Responsibilities

Design and execute test procedures for electronic products and printed circuit board assemblies.

Diagnose faults to component level for new and returned units.

Analyze test data to drive improvements in yield and first time right metrics.

Develop both manual and automated test strategies using relevant equipment and tools.
