We are working with a well-respected housebuilder, known for delivering high-quality homes through meticulous attention to detail and outstanding site leadership. They are now seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead a new housing development in Bodmin.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that invests in excellence – from the teams they hire to the subcontractors and suppliers they work with. They are proud to have several award-winning Site Managers within their business and are looking for someone who shares the same commitment to quality and safety. A Pride in the Job Award or similar industry recognition would be highly regarded.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Build Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the site, overseeing a skilled and motivated site team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily management of the site, setting clear goals and monitoring progress.
- Enforce all health & safety procedures and regulations on site.
- Support and motivate site staff through regular training, toolbox talks, and guidance.
- Ensure compliance with current building regulations and warranty provider standards.
- Maintain accurate site records including timesheets, daily reports, and plant/material tracking.
Requirements:
- SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and valid CSCS card are essential.
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on volume housing developments.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Confident IT user, capable of handling site administration.
- Up-to-date understanding of health & safety legislation and building regulations.
