Zen Educate is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support SEN provisions across Cornwall.
The role involves working with pupils who have special educational needs, particularly those with high anxiety levels and specific learning difficulties, including autism.
Candidates should have experience in SEN, particularly in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH), with a salary range of £86 to £93 per day.
The successful applicant will assist in promoting pupils' independence and social inclusion while adhering to the National Curriculum and school policies.
A full induction program and professional development opportunities will be provided, along with a requirement for an Enhanced DBS check.

Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant (TA)

Pay: £86 - £93

Main purposeThe Learning Support Assistant will: Work in partnership with class teachers to support the learning of a child with an Education, Health Care and Plan (EHCP), and other children as appropriate in line with the National Curriculum, SEN code of practice, and school policies and procedures. Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion. Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement A full induction programme and opportunities for professional development will be provided. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring (DBS) check.
