An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Financial Controller to join a high-performing team supporting a large-scale UK manufacturing function. The business operates at significant scale, with 1000 employees globally and a substantial cost base, making this an impactful role at the heart of operations.

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + bonus

This is a hands-on, senior-level position that works closely with the Finance Director and has line management responsibility for the wider finance team. The role combines strategic partnership with operational detail, offering a strong platform for further progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing insightful financial analysis and performance reporting across key programmes
  • Overseeing investment plans and capital projects for manufacturing sites
  • Supporting ongoing systems transformation (ERP/SAP implementation)
  • Leading cost management, EACs, and balance sheet processes
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across finance and manufacturing functions

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a finance leadership role.
  • Experience within manufacturing environments.
  • Confident business partner and communicator, with experience managing or mentoring teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, improvement-led mindset.
