Description
- Client Management: Primary client contact, relationship building, meeting handling
- Technical Work: Prepare/review financial statements (UK GAAP/FRS 102), manage audits, handle tax computations, review VAT returns
- Team Leadership: Supervise juniors, delegate work, provide training, participate in reviews
- Practice Development: Identify new service opportunities, assist with proposals
- Quality Control: Ensure adherence to firm procedures and regulatory requirements
- Project management across multiple clients
- Developing technical specializations
- Advising on accounting technology solutions
Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
- 3-5 years practice experience
- Strong technical knowledge
- Emerging leadership skills
Functions as the bridge between junior staff and partners, requiring both technical expertise and people management abilities.
