Initial 12-month contract
Onsite in Bolton
SC (can start on BPSS clearance)
24.78ph, UMB, inside IR35 (rising to 26.12ph after 12 weeks)
Please note, due to the nature of work, this role is only open to sole British nationals who can obtain SC level Security Clearance.
Our client, a respected company in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a General Operator with experience in soldering, PCB assembly, and electronics to join their team in Bolton. This is a contract position that plays a crucial role in supporting the company's increased workload and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing soldering tasks and assembling PCB components
- Conducting CCA assembly and ensuring all electronic components are correctly fitted
- Inspection of assembled products to maintain high quality standards
- Following detailed work instructions and safety protocols
- Collaborating with team members to meet production targets
- Identifying and reporting any production issues to the supervisor
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Adhering to security clearance requirements and maintaining confidentiality
Job Requirements:
- Experience in soldering and microelectronics
- Proficiency in PCB assembly
- Understanding of electronics and manufacturing processes
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining high quality standards
- Security clearance (SC) eligibility and BPSS start
Work Pattern:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00-15:36
- Friday: 07:00-11:36
- Initial training will be completed on day shifts
