We are currently recruiting a Forest School SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of a provision in Bolton. This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about outdoor learning and supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD and SEMH
* Assisting with Forest School and outdoor learning sessions
* Providing 1:1 and small group support
* Supporting emotional regulation, engagement and behaviour
* Working closely with teaching staff and professionals
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN
* Interest or experience in Forest School / outdoor education
* Calm, patient and resilient approach
* Forest School qualification desirable but not essential
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
