My client is a market leading business based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

Description

The Credit Controller will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating the financial health of potential and existing customers to determine appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
  • Monitoring and tracking outstanding invoices, ensuring timely payment, and taking action on overdue balances.
  • Pursuing overdue debts, negotiating payment plans, and potentially initiating legal action if necessary.
  • Processing payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate records.
  • Communicating with customers about invoices, payments, and credit terms, and addressing customer queries.

  • Working with other departments, such as sales, accounts receivable, and legal, to resolve payment issues and improve credit control processes.

  • Contributing to the development and implementation of credit control policies and procedures.

  • Analysing credit control performance, identifying areas for improvement, and providing reports to management.

Profile

The successful Credit Controller will need to have:

  • Prior Credit Control experience
  • Be based locally to Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
