My client is a market leading business based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
Description
The Credit Controller will be responsible for:
- Evaluating the financial health of potential and existing customers to determine appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
- Monitoring and tracking outstanding invoices, ensuring timely payment, and taking action on overdue balances.
- Pursuing overdue debts, negotiating payment plans, and potentially initiating legal action if necessary.
- Processing payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate records.

Communicating with customers about invoices, payments, and credit terms, and addressing customer queries.

Working with other departments, such as sales, accounts receivable, and legal, to resolve payment issues and improve credit control processes.

Contributing to the development and implementation of credit control policies and procedures.

Analysing credit control performance, identifying areas for improvement, and providing reports to management.
Profile
The successful Credit Controller will need to have:
- Prior Credit Control experience
- Be based locally to Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
