My client is a market leading business based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
Description
The Credit Controller will be responsible for:
- Evaluating the financial health of potential and existing customers to determine appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
- Monitoring and tracking outstanding invoices, ensuring timely payment, and taking action on overdue balances.
- Pursuing overdue debts, negotiating payment plans, and potentially initiating legal action if necessary.
- Processing payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate records.
- Communicating with customers about invoices, payments, and credit terms, and addressing customer queries.
- Working with other departments, such as sales, accounts receivable, and legal, to resolve payment issues and improve credit control processes.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of credit control policies and procedures.
- Analysing credit control performance, identifying areas for improvement, and providing reports to management.
Profile
The successful Credit Controller will need to have:
- Prior Credit Control experience
- Be based locally to Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
