Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) - Primary School
Location: Primary School (local placement)
Pay: 82-96 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Until April
Simply Education are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a learner.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children's learning and development, particularly in a one-to-one setting.
The Role:
Providing 1:1 support to a pupil within a primary school
Supporting learning, engagement, and emotional development
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Helping to implement tailored learning strategies
Creating a positive, nurturing environment for the learner
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)
Experience supporting SEN or 1:1 learners is advantageous
Patient, caring, and adaptable
Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Holds (or is willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS check
