Milk Education are recruiting for a Cover Teacher for a mainstream Secondary School in Boston to cover lessons for absent members of staff from 08:30 - 15:30 each day. The role will require 5 days commitment per week, Monday to Friday. The school prides itself with the diversity and inclusion of both their staff and students, and aims to support their children in the best way with their educational journey. The school have good pupil behaviour and a national average amount of students with special needs. You will be required to cover lessons for absent members of staff across core subject areas (all planning provided and no marking required), following the schools policies, managing classroom behaviour and making sure students continue to make progress in absence of their regular teacher.
The role is paid to your current teacher pay scale from day one. the school has two sites whitch are half a mile apart and at times, you will be required to work across both sites, so access to a vehicle is essential. This role would also suit applicants that do not hold QTS, but who have a minimum of 6 months experience in delivering lessons, training programmes or working in a supervisory capacity with children or post 16 learners.
